Digital X-ray for cats and dogs

Digital X-ray images of the skeleton, chest and internal organs within seconds, reviewed at the clinic.

About this service

X-rays are a fundamental diagnostic tool that guides vets in many situations — suspected fractures and dislocations, swallowed foreign objects, assessing the lungs and heart, or examining the abdominal organs.

At our clinic, digital (DR) X-rays are taken with the Mindray VetiGen P50 X-ray generator. With a digital system there is no film to develop; the image appears on the computer screen within seconds. The unit’s laser sensor measures the patient’s body thickness and suggests suitable exposure settings.

The images are reviewed by our vets during the same visit, and the findings are explained to you clearly. If needed, complementary tests such as a blood test can also be done in-house.
