Digital X-ray with the Mindray VetiGen P50
At the heart of our digital X-ray setup is the VetiGen P50, an X-ray generator developed specifically for veterinary use by Mindray Animal Medical.
Used for: Digital X-ray

How we use it at our clinic
We use the VetiGen P50 in our X-ray room, mounted on a support arm above the X-ray table. It allows us to take digital X-rays of bones and joints, the chest (lungs and heart) and the abdominal organs. The images appear on the computer screen within seconds and are reviewed by our vets during the same visit.
What it means for you and your pet
Fast results
The image is on screen within seconds; there is no need to go elsewhere for an X-ray.
Suitable exposure settings
A laser sensor measures body thickness and suggests suitable exposure parameters, making it easier to get a clear image.
Quick procedure
The exposure takes a few seconds, so your pet doesn’t have to stay on the table for long.
Reviewed during the same visit
Our vets examine the images straight away and discuss the findings with you.
