Frequently asked questions
The most common questions about appointments, emergencies, preparing for surgery and test results.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Our team speaks English as well as Turkish, so you can ask us about appointments, examinations and treatment in English. Call +90 541 923 87 90 or send us a WhatsApp message.
Can we come to the clinic 24/7 in an emergency?
Yes. We are open 24/7, so you can come in day or night. So that our vets can prepare, please call +90 541 923 87 90 before setting off.
Do I need an appointment for an examination?
We recommend calling us or sending a WhatsApp message to book before coming in for an examination or vaccination; that way our vet can be prepared and your waiting time is shorter. For neutering and other surgery, you need to book at least one day in advance.
What should I pay attention to before neutering?
Book at least one day in advance and follow the fasting period our vet specifies (usually 8–12 hours). Before surgery your pet’s general condition is assessed in an examination, and a blood test can be done at our clinic to screen for anesthetic risk. Please tell our vet about any medication your pet takes or past illnesses.
How long do blood test results take?
Complete blood counts are run on our Mindray BC-30 Vet and biochemistry tests on our Mindray vetXpert, in-house; samples are not sent to an outside lab. Results are usually reviewed by our vets and explained to you within 15–30 minutes.
How do you keep track of vaccinations? Do you send reminders?
Yes. The dates of combination, feline leukemia and rabies vaccinations and of internal/external parasite treatments for every cat and dog registered with us are stored in our digital records. When a vaccine is due, an automatic SMS reminder is sent to your phone.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is a large parking area right in front of the clinic, so you can come straight in without looking for a space — useful when carrying your pet or in an emergency.
